This training is aimed at care home staff who may be involved in the nutritional screening or provision of a food first approach for residents / service users who may be at risk of malnutrition. This would include nursing staff, care staff, catering staff and managers.
The training guidance and information aligns to the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent system Appropriate Prescribing of Oral Nutritional Supplements policy which requires application of a Food First Approach, before considering nutritional supplements.
