Understanding your role in managing resources is vital to enable to you provide good and outstanding care.  

The module is aligned to Standard 9 of the Manager Induction Standards and will cover the following 5 topics

  • People as a resource
  • Financial management 
  • Using technology to manage resources
  • Sustainability of resources

Objectives

  • Describe the different types of resources available to you, and the importance of your role in managing them

  • define your role in managing financial resources, and how technology can support you

  • explain your role in managing people as a resource, and how technology can support you

  • describe how to make your resource management more sustainable, reducing your carbon footprint and reducing waste.
