Description

Coproduction has become increasingly popular in recent years and when done well can benefit communities, service users and organisations and improve services to better suit the needs of those involved. However, unless careful consideration is given to how we approach coproduction, it can be damaging to the very people we are trying to include, and our reputation. This practical full day session uses the learning from recent coproduced research, when we asked the community researchers involved what worked for them. The session outlines the behaviours, attitudes and approaches we can take to ensure coproduction is done well, takes into consideration the power differences in the room, and creates outcomes that is of benefit to all those involved.
