This webinar will explore difficult conversations. It will examine why we need to engage in these conversations, what to be aware of, and how to recognise that these conversations need to take place. Participants will learn about the barriers affecting difficult conversations, and strategies to manage them.

This training is suitable for all care support worker staff.
This training is equivalent to 60 minutes participatory time for CPD. A certificate will be provided upon completion of this training.
This training does discuss death and dying, and may be upsetting for some audiences.
This training was developed by the MPFT Palliative and End of Life Care Team (Palliative + EOLC).

- Identify the triggers for difficult conversations.
- Identify barriers that can affect difficult conversations.
- Discuss strategies for managing difficult conversations.
- Recognise the need for honesty in responding to challenging questions.
