This training does discuss death and dying, and may be upsetting for some audiences.
This training was developed by the MPFT Palliative and End of Life Care Team (Palliative + EOLC).

- Identify the key messages from the Care after Death policy.
- Explain the clinical procedure and documentation required to verify a death.
- Recognise best practice related to personal care of the deceased.
- Summarise the principle of good bereavement care.
- Identify how to access staff wellbeing support.
